Although my projects vary in location, the work is united by a deep desire to study the effects of intervention in the landscape. [AGRI] Culture in the West and the East This project was extended to view and compare rice production and cultural aspects of the west (California) and the east (Bali). Snowshoeing, at night, in storms... Spanish for opening. Polaroid transfer images Photographs combined with painting for an expressive approach to the landscape. Collages that combine the old with the new.	NEW WORK: A landscape that is truly one of the wonders of the world. Images from Viet Nam, viewing walls as palimpsest manuscript pages. Each one a unique hand-painted photoprint. Water, sky and light. Soft and transparent, like memories. A placer mining site in Northern California as stereo cards. Each image contains a poem.	SUNRISE Images SUNSET Images Tracing the path of TE Lawrence from Amman to Aqaba—Sunrise to sunset in the desert of Wadi Rum, Jordan. Aerial Studies of the western landscape. A Landscape inventing itself (with help from the San Andreas Fault). Las Vegas–The ultimate human intervention in the landscape. Images from the vantage point of a sea-kayak.
